अथर्ववेद: | सूक्त: 6
जा॑ग्रद्दुःष्व॒प्न्यं स्व॑प्नेदुःष्व॒प्न्यम् ॥ (९)
हम जाग्रत अवस्था में जो दुःस्व्न देखते हैं और सोते हुए जो दुःस्वप्न देखते हैं, उनके बुरे फलों से तथा धनहीनता के अतीतकाल के संकल्पों से, न प्राप्त होने वाले उत्तम पदार्थो से और न छूटने वाले द्रोहजनित पाशों से मुक्त हों. (९)
We should be free from the evil consequences of the nightmares we see in the waking state and the nightmares we see while sleeping, and from the past resolutions of moneylessness, from the good things that are not obtained, and from the destructive loops that do not leave. (9)
