इस वर्तमान सृष्टि के पहले परमेश्वर के मन में काम भलीभांति व्याप्त हो गया. माया में विलीन अंतःकरण में वही काम बीज बना. हे काम! सारे संसार का निर्माण करने के लिए उत्पन्न किए गए तुम महान परमेश्वर के द्वारा समान कारण बने. हे काम! तुम यजमान को धन की अधिकता प्रदान करो. (१)
Before this present creation, work was well ingrained in God's mind. The same work became a seed in the heart that merged into Maya. This job! You became the same cause by the Great God created to create the whole world. This job! You give the host an abundance of money. (1)
हे काम! तुम अपने सामर्थ्य से प्रतिष्ठित हो. हे व्यापक एवं विशेष दीप्ति वाले! तुम हमारे प्रति मित्र के समान आचरण करते हो. हे काम! तुम क्रोधित होने पर शत्रु सेनाओं को सहन करते हो. तुम यजमान को ऐसा बल प्रदान करो जो शत्रु को पराजित करने में समर्थ हो. (२)
O work! You are distinguished by your ability. O broad and special luminous! You treat us like friends. O work! You tolerate enemy armies when you are angry. Give the host such strength that is capable of defeating the enemy. (2)
अति दुर्लभ फल की इच्छा करने वाले मुझ को सभी आर से रक्षा करने के लिए तथा अनिष्ट के निवारण के लिए सभी दिशाएं काम के सहयोग से सुख उत्पन्न करें. (३)
May those who desire the most rare fruit create happiness with the help of work in all directions to protect me from all the r and to remove the evil. (3)
हे काम! जिस फल की इच्छा करते हुए हम तेरे लिए हवि प्रदान करते हैं, उस हवि का तुम भक्षण करो. यह हवि तुम्हें भलीभांति प्राप्त हो. हम ने जो कामना की है, यह सभी प्रकार से पूर्ण हो. (५)
O work! Eat the fruit we desire for you. You get this happiness well. What we have wished, it should be fulfilled in all respects. (5)
