ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 20
य इन्द्रा॑य वचो॒युजा॑ तत॒क्षुर्मन॑सा॒ हरी॑ । शमी॑भिर्य॒ज्ञमा॑शत ॥ (२)
जिन ऋभुओं ने इंद्र को प्रसन्न करने के लिए अपने मन से ऐसे घोड़े बनाए हैं, जो आज्ञा पाते ही रथ में जुत जाते हैं. वे ही शमी वृक्ष से निर्मित चमस आदि लेकर इस यज्ञ में आवें. (२)
The sages who have made such horses with their minds to please Indra, who get into the chariot as soon as they get the command. They should take the spoon etc. made of shami tree and come to this yagna. (2)
