ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 21
ता म॒हान्ता॒ सद॒स्पती॒ इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ रक्ष॑ उब्जतम् । अप्र॑जाः सन्त्व॒त्रिणः॑ ॥ (५)
वे गुणसंपन्न एवं सभापालक इंद्र और अग्नि राक्षस जाति की क्रूरता समाप्त कर दें. नरभक्षण करने वाले राक्षस उन दोनों के प्रभाव से संतानहीन हो जावें. (५)
Let them put an end to the cruelty of the virtuous and the bearer Indra and the agni demon jati. The demons that cannibalize may become childless under the influence of both of them. (5)
