ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 91
त्वं सो॑म॒ क्रतु॑भिः सु॒क्रतु॑र्भू॒स्त्वं दक्षैः॑ सु॒दक्षो॑ वि॒श्ववे॑दाः । त्वं वृषा॑ वृष॒त्वेभि॑र्महि॒त्वा द्यु॒म्नेभि॑र्द्यु॒म्न्य॑भवो नृ॒चक्षाः॑ ॥ (२)
हे सर्वज्ञ सोम! तुम अपने शोभन यज्ञों के कारण यज्ञसंपन्न करने वाले, अपने बल द्वारा शक्तिशाली एवं अभीष्ट वर्षा के महत्त्व से कामवर्धक हो. तुम यजमानों के मनोवांछित फलदाता होकर उनके द्वारा विपुल मात्रा में दिए गए अन्न से संपन्न हो. (२)
O omniscient Mon! You are the one who performs yajnas because of your shobhan yajnas, powerful by your strength and the importance of the desired rain. You are endowed with the abundant amount of food given by the hosts as the desired fruit givers. (2)
