ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 121
यं क्रन्द॑सी॒ अव॑सा तस्तभा॒ने अ॒भ्यैक्षे॑तां॒ मन॑सा॒ रेज॑माने । यत्राधि॒ सूर॒ उदि॑तो वि॒भाति॒ कस्मै॑ दे॒वाय॑ ह॒विषा॑ विधेम ॥ (६)
जिन्होंने रक्षा के विचार से शब्द करती हुई द्यावा-पृथिवी को स्थिर किया एवं दीप्तियुक्त इन दोनों को महिमा वाला समझा, जिनके आधार के कारण उदित हुआ सूर्य प्रकाशित होता है, हम उन्हीं प्रजापति की पूजा हव्य द्वारा करें. (६)
Those who made the words from the thought of protection and stabilized the dyava-prithvivi and considered the radiant both of them to be glorified, on the basis of which the rising sun is illuminated, let us worship the same Prajapati by havan. (6)
