अग्ने॒ त्री ते॒ वाजि॑ना॒ त्री ष॒धस्था॑ ति॒स्रस्ते॑ जि॒ह्वा ऋ॑तजात पू॒र्वीः । ति॒स्र उ॑ ते त॒न्वो॑ दे॒ववा॑ता॒स्ताभि॑र्नः पाहि॒ गिरो॒ अप्र॑युच्छन् ॥ (२)
हे यज्ञों में उत्पन्न अग्नि! तुम्हारे अन्नस्थान एवं देवों का उदर पूर्ण करने वाली जिह्वाएं तीन हैं. तुम सावधान होकर देवों द्वारा अभिलषित तीन शरीरों के द्वारा हमारे स्तोत्रों की रक्षा करो. (२)
O agni created in the yajnas! There are three tongues that fill the stomach of your food place and gods. Be careful to protect our hymns through the three bodies anointed by the gods. (2)
