परि॑ द्यु॒क्षं सह॑सः पर्वता॒वृधं॒ मध्वः॑ सिञ्चन्ति ह॒र्म्यस्य॑ स॒क्षणि॑म् । आ यस्मि॒न्गावः॑ सुहु॒ताद॒ ऊध॑नि मू॒र्धञ्छ्री॒णन्त्य॑ग्रि॒यं वरी॑मभिः ॥ (४)
शक्तिशाली एवं मादक सोम दीप्तिशाली द्युलोक में निवास करने वाले, पर्वतों को बढ़ाने वाले एवं शत्रुनगरियों को नष्ट करने वाले इंद्र को सींचते हैं. हव्यभक्षण करने वाली गाएं अपने उठे हुए स्तनों में भरे उत्तम दूध को अपनी महिमा से इंद्र को देती हैं. (४)
The powerful and intoxicating som irrigates Indra, who lives in the glorious dulok, who rises the mountains and destroys the enemy cities. The singing sings give the best milk filled in their raised breasts to Indra with their glory. (4)
