ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 72
नाभा॑ पृथि॒व्या ध॒रुणो॑ म॒हो दि॒वो॒३॒॑ऽपामू॒र्मौ सिन्धु॑ष्व॒न्तरु॑क्षि॒तः । इन्द्र॑स्य॒ वज्रो॑ वृष॒भो वि॒भूव॑सुः॒ सोमो॑ हृ॒दे प॑वते॒ चारु॑ मत्स॒रः ॥ (७)
महान्‌ झुलोक को धारण करने वाले, धरती के नाभिरूप उत्तरवेदी पर स्थित, नदियों के जलों के भीतर छिपे हुए, इंद्र के वज्र के समान, अभिलाषा-पूरक व विस्तृत धन वाले सोम इंद्र के हित सुंदर मदकारक बनकर सुख के लिए जाते हैं. (७)
The interests of Som Indra, who possesses the great jhuloka, situated on the navelform uttarvedi of the earth, hidden within the waters of the rivers, like the thunderbolt of Indra, who has the desire-complementing and wide wealth, go for happiness by becoming a beautiful agent. (7)
