च॒मू॒षच्छ्ये॒नः श॑कु॒नो वि॒भृत्वा॑ गोवि॒न्दुर्द्र॒प्स आयु॑धानि॒ बिभ्र॑त् । अ॒पामू॒र्मिं सच॑मानः समु॒द्रं तु॒रीयं॒ धाम॑ महि॒षो वि॑वक्ति ॥ (१९)
चमू नामक पात्रों में वर्तमान, प्रशंसायोग्य, शक्तिशाली, पात्रों में विहार करने वाले, यजमानों को गाय प्राप्त कराने वाले, आयुधधारणकर्तता, जल के प्रेरक, समुद्र की सेवा स्वीकार करने वाले एवं महान्‌ सोम चतुर्थ धाम अर्थात्‌ चंद्रलोक का सेवन करते है. (१९)
The characters named Chamu include the present, the praiseworthy, the powerful, the wanderers in the characters, those who get the cow to the hosts, the ordnance duty, the instigators of water, those who accept the service of the sea and the Great Som iv Dham, i.e. Chandralok. (19)
