सामवेद: | खंड: 4
आ नो अग्ने वयोवृधँ रयिं पावक शँस्यम् । रास्वा च न उपमाते पुरुस्पृहँ सुनीती सुयशस्तरम् ॥ (९)
हे अग्नि! आप पवित्र करने वाले व धनधान्य की समृद्धि करने वाले हैं. आप हमें यश बढ़ाने वाला धन दीजिए. आप हमें सही रास्ते से आने वाला थन प्रदान करें. आप हमें ऐसा धन प्रदान करें जिसे अनेक लोग चाहते हों. (९)
O agni! You are the one who purifies and prospers the richness. You give us the money that increases fame. You provide us with a udder coming from the right path. You give us money that many people want. (9)
