सामवेद (अध्याय 11)
इच्छन्नश्वस्य यच्छिरः पर्वतेष्वपश्रितम् । तद्विदच्छर्यणावति ॥ (८)
इंद्र पर्वतपति हैं. बादलों में छिपी अश्वशक्ति को उन्होंने प्रकटाया. आर्यो का विरोध करने वाली शक्तियों को छिन्रविच्छिन्न किया. (८)
Indra is a mountaineer. He showed the horsepower hidden in the clouds. The forces opposing the Aryans were taken away. (8)
