सामवेद (अध्याय 16)
अयुद्ध इद्युधा वृतँ शूर आजति सत्वभिः । येषामिन्द्रो युवा सखा ॥ (३)
युवा इंद्र जिन यजमानों के मित्र हैं वे युद्ध में रुचि नहीं रखते हैं, फिर भी शक्तिशाली सैन्य बल वाले शत्रु को हरा सकते हैं. (३)
Young Indra is a friend of the hosts whose friends are not interested in war, yet can defeat an enemy with a powerful military force. (3)
