सामवेद (अध्याय 16)
एष शुष्म्यदाभ्यः सोमः पुनानो अर्षति । देवावीरघशँसहा ॥ (६)
सोम देवताओं के रक्षक, पापियों के संहारक, अविनाशी और दिव्य और वे कलश में विराजते हैं. (६)
Soma is the protector of the gods, the destroyer of sinners, the indestructible and the divine and he sits in the kalash. (6)
