यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 5)
सि॒ꣳह्यसि॒ स्वाहा॑ सि॒ꣳह्य॒स्यादित्य॒वनिः॒ स्वाहा॑ सि॒ꣳह्यसि ब्रह्म॒वनिः॑ क्षत्र॒वनिः॒ स्वाहा॑ सि॒ꣳह्यसि सुप्रजा॒वनी॑ रायस्पोष॒वनिः॒ स्वाहा॑ सि॒ꣳह्यस्याव॑ह देवान् यज॑मानाय॒ स्वाहा॑ भू॒तेभ्य॑स्त्वा ॥ (१२)
हे उत्तरवेदिके! आप सिंहिनी हैं. सिंहिनी के लिए स्वाहा. आप सिंहिनी हैं. आप आदित्य को प्रसन्न करने वाली हैं. आप के लिए स्वाहा. आप सिंहिनी हैं. आप ब्राह्मणों को प्रसन्न करने वाली हैं. आप सिंहिनी हैं, आप क्षत्रियो को प्रसन्न करने बाली हैं. आप के लिए स्वाहा. आप सिंहिनी रूप हैं. आप अच्छी संतान देने व धन देने बाली हैं. आप के लिए स्वाहा. आप सिंहिनी हैं. आप यजमान के लिए देवताओं का आह्वान करने वाली हैं. प्राणियों के लिए आप को यह आहुति समर्पित है. You are a Lioness, you are a lover to please kshatriyas. Good luck to you. You are the Lioness form. You are the one who gives good children and money. Good luck to you. You are a lioness. You are going to invoke the gods for the host. This sacrifice is dedicated to you for the living beings. (12)
