अथर्ववेद (कांड 10)
विष्णोः॒ क्रमो॑ऽसि सपत्न॒हाशा॑संशितो॒ वात॑तेजाः । आशा॒ अनु॒ वि क्र॑मे॒ऽहमाशा॑भ्य॒स्तं निर्भ॑जामो॒ यो॒स्मान्द्वेष्टि॒ यं व॒यं द्वि॒ष्मः । स मा जी॑वी॒त्तं प्रा॒णो ज॑हातु ॥ (२९)
तू विष्णु का पराक्रम एवं शत्रुओं का विनाश करने वाला है. तू आकाश में स्थित है एवं वायु का तेज है. मैं आकाश में पराक्रम का प्रदर्शन करता हूं और आकाश से उसे हटाता हूं. जो हम से द्वेष करते हैं अथवा हम जिन से द्वेष करते हैं, उन का विनाश हो. प्राण उन का त्याग कर दें. (२९)
You are the destroyer of Vishnu's might and enemies. You are located in the sky and the brightness of the wind. I display might in the sky and remove it from the sky. Let those who hate us or those we hate be destroyed. Give up their lives. (29)
