हे स्वमन! हम तुम्हारे जन्म को जानते हैं. तुम निर्त्रति अर्थात् पाप देवता के पुत्र हो तथा यम देव के साधन हो. तुम जीवन का अंत करने वाली मृत्यु हो. हम तुम्हारे इस रूप को जानते हैं. तुम हमें बुरे स्वप्र से बचाओ. (४)
O self- We know your birth. You are the son of Nirtrati i.e. sin god and the instrument of Yama Dev. You are the end-of-life death. We know this form of yours. You save us from bad self-respect. (4)
हे स्वप्न! हम तुम्हारी उत्पत्ति को जानते हैं. तुम मृत्यु और अभूति अर्थात् दरिद्रता के पुत्र हो. हे स्वप्र! हम तुम्हें भलिभांति जानते हैं. तुम हमारी बुरे स्वप्नों से रक्षा करो. (५)
O dream! We know your origin. You are the sons of death and abhuti i.e. poverty. O self- We know you very well. You protect us from bad dreams. (5)
हे स्वप्र! हम तुम्हारी उत्पत्ति को जानते हैं. तुम निर्भूति अर्थात् निर्धनता के पुत्र और यमराज के साधन हो. हम तुम्हें भलीभांति जानते हैं, इसलिए तुम हमें बुरे स्वप्र से बचाओ. (६)
O self- We know your origin. You are nirbhuti i.e. the son of poverty and the instrument of Yamraj. We know you very well, so you save us from evil self-respect. (6)
हे स्वप्र! हम तुम्हारी उत्पत्ति को जानते हैं. तुम पराभूति अर्थात् पराजय के पुत्र और यमराज के साधन हो. तुम यमराज के साधन और मृत्यु हो. हम तुम्हारे स्वरूप को भलीभांति जानते हैं. तुम हमें बुरे स्वप्रों से बचाओ. (७)
O self- We know your origin. You are the son of parabhuti i.e. defeat and the instrument of Yamraj. You are the instrument and death of Yamraj. We know your nature very well. You save us from evil self-respect. (7)
हे स्वप्न! हम तुम्हारे जन्म को जानते हैं. तुम इंद्रिय विकारों के पुत्र और यम के साधन हो. तुम जीवन का अंत करने वाली मृत्यु हो. हम तुम्हें भलीभांति जानते हैं. तुम हमें बुरे स्वप्न से बचाओ. (८)
O dream! We know your birth. You are the son of sense disorders and the instrument of Yama. You are the end-of-life death. We know you very well. You save us from nightmares. (8)
