अथर्ववेद (कांड 20)
येन॒ सिन्धुं॑ म॒हीर॒पो रथाँ॑ इव प्रचो॒दयः॑ । पन्था॑मृ॒तस्य॒ यात॑वे॒ तमी॑महे ॥ (९)
हे इंद्र! जिस बल से तुम ने जलों को सागर की ओर गमनशील बनाया. हम अमृत के मार्ग में आगे बढ़ने के लिए उसी बल की याचना करते हैं. (९)
O Indra! The force with which you made the waters moving towards the ocean. We plead with the same force to move forward in the path of nectar. (9)
