दश॒ रात्री॒रशि॑वेना॒ नव॒ द्यूनव॑नद्धं श्नथि॒तम॒प्स्व१॒॑न्तः । विप्रु॑तं रे॒भमु॒दनि॒ प्रवृ॑क्त॒मुन्नि॑न्यथुः॒ सोम॑मिव स्रु॒वेण॑ ॥ (२४)
असुर शत्रुओं ने रेभ ऋषि को पीटा और दुःखद रस्सियों से बांधकर कुएं में डाल दिया. व्यथित एवं जल से भीगे रेभ दस रात और नौ दिन तक वहीं पड़े रहे. जिस प्रकार अध्वर्यु खुच की सहायता से सोमरस निकालता है, उसी प्रकार तुमने उन्हें कुएं से निकाला. (२४)
The asura enemies beat up the sage Rebh and tied him with sad ropes and threw him into the well. Distressed and drenched in water, Rebh lay there for ten nights and nine days. Just as Adhwaryu removes somras with the help of a khuch, so you pulled them out of the well. (24)
