ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 117
यो वा॑मश्विना॒ मन॑सो॒ जवी॑या॒न्रथः॒ स्वश्वो॒ विश॑ आ॒जिगा॑ति । येन॒ गच्छ॑थः सु॒कृतो॑ दुरो॒णं तेन॑ नरा व॒र्तिर॒स्मभ्यं॑ यातम् ॥ (२)
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! मन से भी अधिक तीव्रगामी एवं सुंदर घोड़ों वाला तुम्हारा जो रथ प्रजाओं की ओर जाता है तथा जिससे तुम सुंदर यज्ञ करने वाले लोगों के घर जाते हो, हे नेताओ! तुम उसी रथ द्वारा हमारे समीप आओ. (२)
O Ashwinikumaro! Your chariot, with more intense and beautiful horses than the mind, which leads to the people and from which you go to the houses of those who perform beautiful yajna, O leaders! You come to us by the same chariot. (2)
