तम॒ग्रुवः॑ के॒शिनीः॒ सं हि रे॑भि॒र ऊ॒र्ध्वास्त॑स्थुर्म॒म्रुषीः॒ प्रायवे॒ पुनः॑ । तासां॑ ज॒रां प्र॑मु॒ञ्चन्ने॑ति॒ नान॑द॒दसुं॒ परं॑ ज॒नय॑ञ्जी॒वमस्तृ॑तम् ॥ (८)
आगे स्थित केशों के समान ज्वालाएं अग्नि का आलिंगन करती हैं. ज्वालाएं मरी हुई होने पर भी आने वाले अग्ने के स्वागत के लिए ऊपर उठती हैं, अग्नि ऐसी शिखाओं का बुढ़ापा दूर करके उन्हें अतिशय शक्तिशाली एवं प्राणधारण के योग्य बनाते हुए बार-बार गर्जन करते हैं. (८)
The flames like the hairs located in the front embrace the fire. Even when the flames are dead, they rise up to welcome the incoming agne, the fires roar again and again, removing the old age of such crests and making them very powerful and worthy of life. (8)
