ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 161
उ॒द्वत्स्व॑स्मा अकृणोतना॒ तृणं॑ नि॒वत्स्व॒पः स्व॑प॒स्यया॑ नरः । अगो॑ह्यस्य॒ यदस॑स्तना गृ॒हे तद॒द्येदमृ॑भवो॒ नानु॑ गच्छथ ॥ (११)
हे तेजस्वी एवं नेता ऋभु.ओ! तुम मेरु आदि ऊंचे स्थानों पर प्राणियों के लिए जौ आदि फसलें उत्पन्न करते हो एवं शोभन कर्म की इच्छा से नीचे स्थानों में जल भरते हो. तुम आदित्य मंडल में जितने समय तक रहे, अब उतने समय तक छिपकर मत रहो. (११)
O bright and leader, Raghu.o! You produce crops like barley etc. for the animals at higher places like Meru, etc., and fill the lower places with water with the desire for shobhan karma. As long as you stayed in Aditya Mandal, don't stay hidden for as long as you have been. (11)
