पाकः॑ पृच्छामि॒ मन॒सावि॑जानन्दे॒वाना॑मे॒ना निहि॑ता प॒दानि॑ । व॒त्से ब॒ष्कयेऽधि॑ स॒प्त तन्तू॒न्वि त॑त्निरे क॒वय॒ ओत॒वा उ॑ ॥ (५)
मैं अपरिपक्व बुद्धि वाला मन से न जानने के कारण यह सब पूछ रहा हूं. ये संदेहास्पद बातें देवों के लिए भी गूढ़ हैं. एक वर्ष के बछड़े को लपेटने के लिए मेधावियों ने जो सात धागे बताए हैं, वे क्या हैं? (५)
