सु॒शंसो॑ बोधि गृण॒ते य॑विष्ठ्य॒ मधु॑जिह्वः॒ स्वा॑हुतः । प्रस्क॑ण्वस्य प्रति॒रन्नायु॑र्जी॒वसे॑ नम॒स्या दैव्यं॒ जन॑म् ॥ (६)
हे अतिशय युवक अग्नि! यजमान के लिए स्तुति करने वाले स्तोता के तुम्हीं स्तुति विषय हो. तुम्हारी जिह्वाएं सुख देने वाली हैं. भली प्रकार बुलाए जाने पर तुम हमारा अभिप्राय समझो एवं आयु बढ़ा कर प्रस्कण्व को दीर्घजीवी बनाओ. वह देवभक्त है, तुम उसका सम्मान करो. (६)
O very young man, agni! You are the subject of praise of the hymn that praises for the host. Your tongues are pleasing. When well called, you understand our intention and increase the age and make the presentation long-term. He is a god, you respect him. (6)
