यामथ॑र्वा॒ मनु॑ष्पि॒ता द॒ध्यङ्धिय॒मत्न॑त । तस्मि॒न्ब्रह्मा॑णि पू॒र्वथेन्द्र॑ उ॒क्था सम॑ग्म॒तार्च॒न्ननु॑ स्व॒राज्य॑म् ॥ (१६)
अथर्वा ऋषि, समस्त प्रजाओं के पिता तुल्य मनु एवं अथर्वा के पुत्र दध्यंग ऋषि ने जितने भी यज्ञकर्म किए, उन में प्रयुक्त हवि रूप अन्न एवं स्तोत्र प्राचीन ऋषियों के यज्ञों के समान इंद्र को ही मिले. इसलिए इंद्र ने अपने अधिकार का प्रदर्शन किया. (१६)
The sage Atharva, the father of all the people, Manu, and the son of Atharva, the sage Dadyang, all the yajnakarmas used in them, the havi form of food and hymns used in them got only Indra like the yajnas of the ancient sages. So Indra demonstrated his authority. (16)
