प्र ये शुम्भ॑न्ते॒ जन॑यो॒ न सप्त॑यो॒ याम॑न्रु॒द्रस्य॑ सू॒नवः॑ सु॒दंस॑सः । रोद॑सी॒ हि म॒रुत॑श्चक्रि॒रे वृ॒धे मद॑न्ति वी॒रा वि॒दथे॑षु॒ घृष्व॑यः ॥ (१)
गमन के निमित्त अपने शरीर को नारियों के समान अलंकृत करने वाले, गमनशील, रुद्र के पुत्र, धरती और आकाश की वृद्धि करने के कारण शोभन कर्मा, शत्रुओं को भगाने वाले एवं वृक्षादि के भंजनकर्ता मरुद्गण यज्ञ में सोमपान के कारण प्रसन्न होते हैं. (१)
Those who adorn their bodies like women for the sake of passage, Gamansheel, the son of Rudra, Shobhan Karma due to the growth of the earth and the sky, the ones who drive away the enemies and break the tree, the Marudgana, who breaks the tree, are pleased because of the sompan in the yajna. (1)
