तत्ते॑ भ॒द्रं यत्समि॑द्धः॒ स्वे दमे॒ सोमा॑हुतो॒ जर॑से मृळ॒यत्त॑मः । दधा॑सि॒ रत्नं॒ द्रवि॑णं च दा॒शुषेऽग्ने॑ स॒ख्ये मा रि॑षामा व॒यं तव॑ ॥ (१४)
हे अग्नि! जिस समय तुम अपने स्थान पर प्रज्वलित एवं सोम द्वारा आहूत होकर ऋत्विजों की स्तुति का विषय बनते हो, उस समय अत्यंत भद्र प्राप्त करते हो. तुम हमारे लिए परम सुखकारक एवं यजमान के लिए रमणीय यज्ञफल एवं धन देने वाले बनो, तुम्हारी मित्रता प्राप्त करके हम किसी के द्वारा हिंसित न हों. (१४)
O agni! At the time when you are ignited in your place and invoked by The Som and become the subject of praise of the Ritvijas, at that time you receive the utmost bhadra. Be the most pleasant to us and the giver of delightful sacrifices and wealth for the host, and we will not be disenchanted by anyone by getting your friendship. (14)
