रा॒यो बु॒ध्नः सं॒गम॑नो॒ वसू॑नां य॒ज्ञस्य॑ के॒तुर्म॑न्म॒साध॑नो॒ वेः । अ॒मृ॒त॒त्वं रक्ष॑माणास एनं दे॒वा अ॒ग्निं धा॑रयन्द्रविणो॒दाम् ॥ (६)
अपने अमृतत्व की रक्षा करने वाले देवों ने धन के मूल निवास हेतु, धनों को मिलाने वाले, स्तोताओं की अभिलाषा के पूरक तथा यज्ञ के केतुरूप धनदाता अग्नि को धारण किया था. (६)
The devas who protected their elixir had possessed the money-giving agni for the original abode of wealth, for the sake of mixing the riches, complementing the desire of the stothas, and as a form of yajna. (6)
