नू च॑ पु॒रा च॒ सद॑नं रयी॒णां जा॒तस्य॑ च॒ जाय॑मानस्य च॒ क्षाम् । स॒तश्च॑ गो॒पां भव॑तश्च॒ भूरे॑र्दे॒वा अ॒ग्निं धा॑रयन्द्रविणो॒दाम् ॥ (७)
प्राचीनकाल में एवं आजकल होने वाले समस्त धनों के निवासस्थान, उत्पन्न एवं भविष्य में होने वाले कार्यसमूह के निवासभूत तथा इस समय उपस्थित एवं भविष्य में जन्म लेने वाले पदार्थो के रक्षक तथा धनदाता अग्ने को देवों ने धारण किया. (७)
