ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 31
परि॑ चि॒न्मर्तो॒ द्रवि॑णं ममन्यादृ॒तस्य॑ प॒था नम॒सा वि॑वासेत् । उ॒त स्वेन॒ क्रतु॑ना॒ सं व॑देत॒ श्रेयां॑सं॒ दक्षं॒ मन॑सा जगृभ्यात् ॥ (२)
मनुष्य सभी प्रकार से देवयज्ञ के लिए धन की अभिलाषा करें एवं धन पाकर हव्य द्वारा यज्ञ के मार्ग से देवों की सेवा करें. वे अपने ज्ञान से देवों का ध्यान करें एवं अति प्रशंसनीय तथा सर्वव्यापक अंतरात्मा को मन से ग्रहण करें. (२)
Man should desire wealth for devyagya in all respects and get the money and serve the gods through the path of yajna by getting the money. They meditate on the gods with their knowledge and receive the most admired and omnipresent conscience from the mind. (2)
