प्र सु ग्मन्ता॑ धियसा॒नस्य॑ स॒क्षणि॑ व॒रेभि॑र्व॒राँ अ॒भि षु प्र॒सीद॑तः । अ॒स्माक॒मिन्द्र॑ उ॒भयं॑ जुजोषति॒ यत्सो॒म्यस्यान्ध॑सो॒ बुबो॑धति ॥ (१)
इंद्र अपने घोड़े इंद्रागमन की चिंता करने वाले मुझ यजमान के यज्ञ में आने के लिए हांकते हैं. उत्तम मार्गो से हवि देने वाले यजमान के हव्य और स्तुतियों को लक्ष्य करके इंद्र आवें. इंद्र आकर हमारा हव्य भक्षण करें एवं स्तुतियां सुनें. इंद्र मेरे सोमरस और हव्य का स्वाद लेते हैं. (१)
Indra, who is worried about his horse Indragaman, is tempted to come to the yagna of my host. Indra should come by aiming at the greetings and praises of the host who gives the greetings of the best of the ways. Indra should come and eat our heart and listen to the praises. Indra tastes my somras and havya. (1)
