ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 65
स्व॑र्णरम॒न्तरि॑क्षाणि रोच॒ना द्यावा॒भूमी॑ पृथि॒वीं स्क॑म्भु॒रोज॑सा । पृ॒क्षा इ॑व म॒हय॑न्तः सुरा॒तयो॑ दे॒वाः स्त॑वन्ते॒ मनु॑षाय सू॒रयः॑ ॥ (४)
उन्हीं देवों ने अपनी शक्ति से सबके नेता सूर्य, आकाश में स्थित तेजस्वी नक्षत्रों, द्युलोक एवं धरती को स्थित किया है. दरिद्रों को धन दान करने के समान स्तोताओं को धन से सम्मानित करने वाले देव मानवों को श्रेष्ठ बनाते हैं. हम यज्ञां में ऐसे देवों की स्तुति करते हैं. (४)
The same gods have established by their power the leader of all the sun, the bright constellations in the sky, the dyulloka and the earth. The gods who honor the hymns with wealth like donating money to the poor make the best of human beings. We praise such gods in the yagnas. (4)
