चक्षु॑षः पि॒ता मन॑सा॒ हि धीरो॑ घृ॒तमे॑ने अजन॒न्नन्न॑माने । य॒देदन्ता॒ अद॑दृहन्त॒ पूर्व॒ आदिद्द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी अ॑प्रथेताम् ॥ (१)
शरीर को उत्पन्न करने वाले, स्वयं को अद्वितीय समझने वाले एवं धीर विश्वकर्मा ने सबसे पहले जल को उत्पन्न किया. इसके पश्चात् जल में इधर उधर चलने वाले द्यावा-पृथिवी का निर्माण किया. विश्वकर्मा ने द्यावा-पृथिवी के प्राचीन एवं अंतिम भागों को दृढ़ करके प्रसिद्ध किया. (१)
The creator of the body, the one who considered himself unique and Dhir Vishwakarma was the first to produce water. After this, he built the dyava-prithvivi moving around in the water. Vishwakarma made famous by strengthening the ancient and last parts of Dyava-Prithvivi. (1)

वि॒श्वक॑र्मा॒ विम॑ना॒ आद्विहा॑या धा॒ता वि॑धा॒ता प॑र॒मोत सं॒दृक् । तेषा॑मि॒ष्टानि॒ समि॒षा म॑दन्ति॒ यत्रा॑ सप्तऋ॒षीन्प॒र एक॑मा॒हुः ॥ (२)
विशाल मन वाले विश्वकर्मा स्वयं महान् हैं. वे सृष्टि का निर्माण करने वाले वृष्टिकरा, श्रेष्ठ एवं सब कुछ देखने वाले हैं. विद्वान् लोग कहते हैं कि सप्तर्षियों से भी ऊंचे स्थानों को वे अकेले ही देखते हैं. उन सप्तर्षियों की अभिलाषाएं हव्यान्न द्वारा पूर्ण होती हैं. (२)
Vishwakarmas with a huge mind are themselves great. They are the creators of creation, the best and the seeers of everything. Scholars say that they see higher places than the Saptarshis alone. The wishes of those Saptarshis are fulfilled by havan. (2)

यो नः॑ पि॒ता ज॑नि॒ता यो वि॑धा॒ता धामा॑नि॒ वेद॒ भुव॑नानि॒ विश्वा॑ । यो दे॒वानां॑ नाम॒धा एक॑ ए॒व तं स॑म्प्र॒श्नं भुव॑ना यन्त्य॒न्या ॥ (३)
जो विश्वकर्मा हमारा पालन करने वाले, उत्पन्न करने वाले व विश्व के उत्पादक हैं तथा देवों के तेज एवं सभी भुवनों को जानते हैं. जो एकमात्र देवों का नाम रखने वाले हैं, सब प्राणी उन्हीं के विषय में जानना चाहते हैं. (३)
Vishwakarmas who follow us, create and produce us and are the producers of the world and know the brightness of the gods and all the bhuvanas. Those who are the only gods to name, all beings want to know about them. (3)

त आय॑जन्त॒ द्रवि॑णं॒ सम॑स्मा॒ ऋष॑यः॒ पूर्वे॑ जरि॒तारो॒ न भू॒ना । अ॒सूर्ते॒ सूर्ते॒ रज॑सि निष॒त्ते ये भू॒तानि॑ स॒मकृ॑ण्वन्नि॒मानि॑ ॥ (४)
जिन ऋषियों ने स्थावर और जंगमरूप विश्व का निर्माण हो जाने पर सभी प्राणियों को बनाया, उन्हीं ऋषियों ने प्राचीन स्तोताओं के समान धन व्यय करके यज्ञ किया. (४)
The sages who created all beings when the real and movable world was created, the same sages performed yajna by spending the same amount of money as the ancient stoetas. (4)

प॒रो दि॒वा प॒र ए॒ना पृ॑थि॒व्या प॒रो दे॒वेभि॒रसु॑रै॒र्यदस्ति॑ । कं स्वि॒द्गर्भं॑ प्रथ॒मं द॑ध्र॒ आपो॒ यत्र॑ दे॒वाः स॒मप॑श्यन्त॒ विश्वे॑ ॥ (५)
वह ईश्वर झुलोक, धरती, देवों व असुरों से महान् हैं. जलों ने वह कौन सा गर्भ धारण किया था, जहां सभी देवों ने स्वयं को परस्पर मिला हुआ देखा. (५)
He is greater than God Jhuloka, Earth, Devas and Asuras. What conception did the waters have, where all the gods saw themselves joined together? (5)

तमिद्गर्भं॑ प्रथ॒मं द॑ध्र॒ आपो॒ यत्र॑ दे॒वाः स॒मग॑च्छन्त॒ विश्वे॑ । अ॒जस्य॒ नाभा॒वध्येक॒मर्पि॑तं॒ यस्मि॒न्विश्वा॑नि॒ भुव॑नानि त॒स्थुः ॥ (६)
जल ने उन्हीं विश्वकर्मा को गर्भ में धारण किया था. वहीं सब देव एक-दूसरे से मिले. उस जन्मरहित की नाभि में ब्रह्मांड स्थित है. उसीमें सारा संसार स्थित है. (६)
Water conceived the same Vishwakarma. It was there that all the gods met each other. The universe is located in the navel of that birthless. In him is the whole world located. (6)

न तं वि॑दाथ॒ य इ॒मा ज॒जाना॒न्यद्यु॒ष्माक॒मन्त॑रं बभूव । नी॒हा॒रेण॒ प्रावृ॑ता॒ जल्प्या॑ चासु॒तृप॑ उक्थ॒शास॑श्चरन्ति ॥ (७)
जिस विश्वकर्मा ने उन सब प्राणियों को उत्पन्न किया था, उसे तुम नहीं जानते. तुम्हारा हृदय उसे जानने की योग्यता नहीं रखता. लोग अज्ञान रूपी पाले से ढक कर तरह-तरह की बातें करते हैं. वे भोजन करते हुए भांति-भांति की स्तुतियां करते हैं और स्वर्ग में जाने का प्रयत्न करते हैं. (७)
You do not know the Vishwakarma who created all those beings. Your heart does not have the ability to know him. People do all sorts of things covered with ignorance. They eat and praise a variety of things and try to go to heaven. (7)
