ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 35
सम॒न्या यन्त्युप॑ यन्त्य॒न्याः स॑मा॒नमू॒र्वं न॒द्यः॑ पृणन्ति । तमू॒ शुचिं॒ शुच॑यो दीदि॒वांस॑म॒पां नपा॑तं॒ परि॑ तस्थु॒रापः॑ ॥ (३)
धरती में जल पहले से भरा रहता है. दूसरा जल उस में मिलता है. वे जल नदी का रूप धारण करके सागर की बाड़वाग्नि को प्रसन्न करते हैं. शुद्ध जल पवित्र एवं दीप्तियुक्त अपांनपात्‌ को चारों ओर से घेरकर स्थित है. (३)
The water in the earth is already full. The second water gets into it. They take the form of water river and please the fence of the sea. Pure water is situated by surrounding the sacred and radiant apanple. (3)
