अ॒न्यस्या॑ व॒त्सं रि॑ह॒ती मि॑माय॒ कया॑ भु॒वा नि द॑धे धे॒नुरूधः॑ । ऋ॒तस्य॒ सा पय॑सापिन्व॒तेळा॑ म॒हद्दे॒वाना॑मसुर॒त्वमेक॑म् ॥ (१३)
धरती के पुत्र अग्नि को जल धारारूपी जिह्वा से चाटती हुई द्यौ बादल के गर्जन के रूप में शब्द करती है. द्यौ रूपी गाय धरती को जलहीन बनाकर अपने मेघ रूप स्तनों को जल से भरती है. सूखी धरती सूर्य के जल से भीगती है. देवों का प्रमुख बल एक ही है. (१३)
The son of the earth licking agni with a stream-like tongue of water licking it as a roar of a cloud. The dau-like cow fills its cloudy breasts with water by making the earth waterless. The dry earth is drenched in the water of the sun. The principal force of the gods is the same. (13)
