म॒हाँ आ॑दि॒त्यो नम॑सोप॒सद्यो॑ यात॒यज्ज॑नो गृण॒ते सु॒शेवः॑ । तस्मा॑ ए॒तत्पन्य॑तमाय॒ जुष्ट॑म॒ग्नौ मि॒त्राय॑ ह॒विरा जु॑होत ॥ (५)
महान्‌ आदित्य लोगों को अपने-अपने कर्म में लगाने वाले एवं नमस्कार द्वारा सेवा करने योग्य हैं. वे स्तुति करने वालों के प्रति प्रसन्न होते हैं. उन अत्यंत स्तुति योग्य मित्र के निमित्त अग्नि में हव्य डालो. (५)
The great Aditya is able to serve people through those who engage in their deeds and greet them. They are pleased with those who praise. Pour the wind into the agni for the sake of those most praiseworthy friends. (5)
