चित्ति॒मचि॑त्तिं चिनव॒द्वि वि॒द्वान्पृ॒ष्ठेव॑ वी॒ता वृ॑जि॒ना च॒ मर्ता॑न् । रा॒ये च॑ नः स्वप॒त्याय॑ देव॒ दितिं॑ च॒ रास्वादि॑तिमुरुष्य ॥ (११)
विद्वान्‌ अग्नि मनुष्यों के पुण्य एवं पाप को उसी प्रकार अलग कर दें. जिस प्रकार घोड़ों को पालने वाला कोमल और कठोर पीठ वाले घोड़ों को अलग-अलग छांट देता है. हे अग्नि देव! हमें सुंदर संतान के साथ धन दो. तुम दान करने वाले को धन दो और दानहीन से धन को बचाओ. (११)
Let the learned agni separate the virtue and sin of human beings in the same way. Just as the one who rears the horses gives different sorting to the horses with gentle and hard backs. O God of agni! Give us wealth with beautiful children. You give money to the donor and save the money from the unstained. (11)
