ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 21
तस्येदि॒ह स्त॑वथ॒ वृष्ण्या॑नि तुविद्यु॒म्नस्य॑ तुवि॒राध॑सो॒ नॄन् । यस्य॒ क्रतु॑र्विद॒थ्यो॒३॒॑ न स॒म्राट् सा॒ह्वान्तरु॑त्रो अ॒भ्यस्ति॑ कृ॒ष्टीः ॥ (२)
हे स्तोताओ! तुम इस यज्ञ में नेता मरुतों की स्तुति करो, जो इंद्र के बलस्वरूप हैं. अतिशय यशस्वी एवं असीमित धनसंपन्न इंद्र का शत्रुओं को हराने वाला एवं भक्तों की रक्षा करने वाला कर्म शत्रु की प्रजाओं को उसी प्रकार पराभूत कर देता है, जिस प्रकार यज्ञ की योग्यता रखने वाला राजा सबको हराता है. (२)
This stotao! Praise the leader maruts in this yajna, who are the strength of Indra. The very successful and unlimited wealthy, Indra's action of defeating the enemies and protecting the devotees defeats the enemy's subjects in the same way that the king who is capable of yajna defeats everyone. (2)
