द्रुहं॒ जिघां॑सन्ध्व॒रस॑मनि॒न्द्रां तेति॑क्ते ति॒ग्मा तु॒जसे॒ अनी॑का । ऋ॒णा चि॒द्यत्र॑ ऋण॒या न॑ उ॒ग्रो दू॒रे अज्ञा॑ता उ॒षसो॑ बबा॒धे ॥ (७)
इंद्र द्रोह करने वाले, हिंसाकारियों एवं इंद्र को न जानने वाली राक्षसी को मारने की इच्छा से अपने तेज आयुधों को अधिक तेज बनाते हैं. उषाकाल में हमें ऋण बाधा पहुंचाते हैं. ऋणहंता इंद्र हमारे अनजाने ही दूर से इन उषाओं को पीड़ित करते हैं. (७)
Indra makes his sharp weapons faster with the desire to kill the traitors, the violent, and the demon who does not know Indra. In the ushakaal, loans hinder us. The debtor Indra suffers these ushas from our unknowingly distant. (7)
