प्र ये धामा॑नि पू॒र्व्याण्यर्चा॒न्वि यदु॒च्छान्वि॑यो॒तारो॒ अमू॑राः । वि॒धा॒तारो॒ वि ते द॑धु॒रज॑स्रा ऋ॒तधी॑तयो रुरुचन्त द॒स्माः ॥ (२)
जो देव स्तुतिकर्ताओं को प्राचीन स्थान देते हैं, जो दुःखों को पृथक्‌ करते हैं, जो मूढ़ताहीन हैं एवं अंधकार का नाश करते हैं, वे ही देव विधाता हैं एवं नित्य हमारी इच्छाएं पूरी करते हैं. सत्यकर्म वाले एवं दर्शनीय वे देव शोभित होते हैं. (२)
The gods who give the praises the ancient place, who separate the sufferings, those who are foolish and destroy the darkness, they are the gods who are the vidhatas and always fulfill our desires. Those gods of truth and philosophy are adorned. (2)
