सु॒त इत्त्वं निमि॑श्ल इन्द्र॒ सोमे॒ स्तोमे॒ ब्रह्म॑णि श॒स्यमा॑न उ॒क्थे । यद्वा॑ यु॒क्ताभ्यां॑ मघव॒न्हरि॑भ्यां॒ बिभ्र॒द्वज्रं॑ बा॒ह्वोरि॑न्द्र॒ यासि॑ ॥ (१)
हे इंद्र! जब सोमरस निचुड़ जाता है, महान्‌ स्तोत्र बोलना आरंभ हो जाता है एवं वैदिक स्तुतियां होने लगती हैं, तब तुम अपने रथ में घोड़े जोड़ते हो. हे धनस्वामी इंद्र! तुम दोनों हाथों में वज्र उठाकर रथ में जुड़े हुए दो घोड़ों की सहायता से आते हो. (१)
O Indra! When the Somras are deserted, the great hymns begin to speak and vedic hymns begin to appear, then you add horses to your chariot. O Dhanaswami Indra! You carry a thunderbolt in both hands and come with the help of two horses attached to the chariot. (1)
