व्यु१॒॑षा आ॑वः प॒थ्या॒३॒॑ जना॑नां॒ पञ्च॑ क्षि॒तीर्मानु॑षीर्बो॒धय॑न्ती । सु॒सं॒दृग्भि॑रु॒क्षभि॑र्भा॒नुम॑श्रे॒द्वि सूर्यो॒ रोद॑सी॒ चक्ष॑सावः ॥ (१)
मनुष्यों का हित करने वाली उषा अंधकार मिटाती है, मानवों की पांच श्रेणियों को जगाती है एवं उत्तम तेज वाली किरणों द्वारा सूर्य का सहारा लेती है. सूर्य अपने तेज से द्यावा-पृथिवी को ढक लेता है. (१)
Usha (Dawn), who benefits human beings, dispels darkness, awakens the five categories of human beings and takes the support of the sun with the best rays of radiance. The Sun covers the earth with its radiance. (1)

व्य॑ञ्जते दि॒वो अन्ते॑ष्व॒क्तून्विशो॒ न यु॒क्ता उ॒षसो॑ यतन्ते । सं ते॒ गाव॒स्तम॒ आ व॑र्तयन्ति॒ ज्योति॑र्यच्छन्ति सवि॒तेव॑ बा॒हू ॥ (२)
उषाएं अंतरिक्ष के भाग में तेज फैलाती हैं एवं प्रजा के समान मिलकर अंधकारनाश के लिए प्रयत्न करती हैं. हे उषा! तुम्हारी किरणें अंधकार का नाश करती हैं एवं सूर्य के हाथों के समान सबको प्रकाश देती हैं. (२)
Usha spread fast in the part of space and, like people, try to destroy darkness. Oh, Usha (Morning)! Your rays destroy the darkness and give light to everyone like the hands of the Sun. (2)

अभू॑दु॒षा इन्द्र॑तमा म॒घोन्यजी॑जनत्सुवि॒ताय॒ श्रवां॑सि । वि दि॒वो दे॒वी दु॑हि॒ता द॑धा॒त्यङ्गि॑रस्तमा सु॒कृते॒ वसू॑नि ॥ (३)
सर्वश्रेष्ठ स्वामिनी एवं धनशालिनी उषा उत्पन्न हुई है एवं उसने सबके कल्याण के लिए अन्न पैदा किया है. स्वर्ग की पुत्री एवं अतिशय गतिशील उषा देवी शोभनकर्म करने वाले के लिए धन धारण करती है. (३)
The best mistress and dhanshalini Usha has been born and she has created food for the welfare of all. Usha Devi, the daughter of heaven and the most dynamic, holds wealth for the one who does good deeds. (3)

ताव॑दुषो॒ राधो॑ अ॒स्मभ्यं॑ रास्व॒ याव॑त्स्तो॒तृभ्यो॒ अर॑दो गृणा॒ना । यां त्वा॑ ज॒ज्ञुर्वृ॑ष॒भस्या॒ रवे॑ण॒ वि दृ॒ळ्हस्य॒ दुरो॒ अद्रे॑रौर्णोः ॥ (४)
हे उषा! हमें भी तुम उतना धन दो, जितना तुमने प्राचीन स्तोताओं की स्तुति सुनकर दिया था. लोग वृषभ नामक स्तोत्र के स्वर से तुम्हें जानते हैं. तुमने पणियों द्वारा गायों की चोरी के समय मजबूत द्वार खोला था. (४)
Oh, Usha! Give us as much money as you did when you heard the praise of the ancient hymns. People know you by the tone of a hymn called Taurus. You opened the strong door at the time of theft of cows by the panies. (4)

दे॒वंदे॑वं॒ राध॑से चो॒दय॑न्त्यस्म॒द्र्य॑क्सू॒नृता॑ ई॒रय॑न्ती । व्यु॒च्छन्ती॑ नः स॒नये॒ धियो॑ धा यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः ॥ (५)
हे उषा! प्रत्येक स्तोता को धन के लिए प्रेरित करती हुई, शोभनवचनों को हमारी ओर भेजती हुई एवं अंधकार का नाश करती हुई तुम हमारे लिए धनदान हेतु अपनी बुद्धि स्थिर करो. हे देवी! तुम अपने कल्याणसाधनों द्वारा हमारी रक्षा करो. (५)
Oh, Usha! By inspiring each of the hymns to wealth, sending the adornments to us, and destroying the darkness, you must establish your wisdom for us to give us wealth. O Goddess! You protect us by your welfare means. (5)
