ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 2
गोभि॒र्यदी॑म॒न्ये अ॒स्मन्मृ॒गं न व्रा मृ॒गय॑न्ते । अ॒भि॒त्सर॑न्ति धे॒नुभिः॑ ॥ (६)
बहेलिए जिस प्रकार हरिणों को खोजते हैं, उसी प्रकार हमारे अतिरिक्त लोग गोदुग्ध आदि से मिले सोमरस की सहायता से इंद्र को खोजते हैं. वे लोग स्तुतियां बोलते हुए गलत ढंग से इंद्र के सामने जाते हैं, इसलिए उन्हें प्राप्त नहीं करते. (६)
Just as the deer searches for the deer, so our other people search for Indra with the help of the somras found in godugandha etc. They wrongly go before Indra while speaking praises, so do not receive them. (6)
