ऋग्वेद: | सूक्त: 3
आ॒त्मा पि॒तुस्त॒नूर्वास॑ ओजो॒दा अ॒भ्यञ्ज॑नम् । तु॒रीय॒मिद्रोहि॑तस्य॒ पाक॑स्थामानं भो॒जं दा॒तार॑मब्रवम् ॥ (२४)
अपने पिता के उपयुक्त पुत्र, निवास हेतु घर एवं ओजस्वी पदार्थ देने वाले, शत्रुओं के नाशक A उपभोग करने वाले तथा लाल रंग का घोड़ा प्रदान करने वाले पाकस्थामा की स्तुति मैं करता हूं. (२४)
I praise the perfect son of his father, the protector of his father, the one who gave houses and valuables for habitation, the destroyer of the enemies, the one who consumes and the one who provides a red horse. (24)
