अ॒मृतं॑ जा॒तवे॑दसं ति॒रस्तमां॑सि दर्श॒तम् । घृ॒ताह॑वन॒मीड्य॑म् ॥ (५)
मैं मरणरहित, जातवेद, अंधकार का नाश करने वाले, घृत द्वारा हवन करने योग्य एवं स्तुतिपात्र अग्नि के पास जाता हूं. (५)
I go to the agni without dying, the Jataveda, the destroyer of darkness, the one who is worthy of being worshipped by the aphoria and the praiseworthy. (5)
