प्र सोमा॑सो विप॒श्चितो॒ऽपां न य॑न्त्यू॒र्मयः॑ । वना॑नि महि॒षा इ॑व ॥ (१)
मेधावी सोम द्रोणकलशों की ओर इस प्रकार जाते हैं, जिस प्रकार पानी में लहरें उठती हैं. बूढ़ा हिरण जैसे जंगल की ओर जाता है, उसी प्रकार सोम पात्र से नीचे जाते हैं. (१)
The meritorious Som goes to the Dronakalshas in this way, just as the waves rise in the water. Like the old deer leads to the forest, in the same way the mons go down from the pot. (1)
