सामवेद (अध्याय 22)
अयँ सहस्रमृषिभिः सहस्कृतः समुद्र इव पप्रथे । सत्यः सो अस्य महिमा गृणे शवो यज्ञेषु विप्रराज्ये ॥ (४)
हे इंद्र! आप समुद्र की भांति विस्तृत हैं. आप हजारों ऋषियों जैसे बलवान हैं. आप सत्यवान व शक्तिमान हैं. ब्रह्मज्ञानी लोगों के निर्देशन में आप की स्तुतियां गाई जाती हैं. (४)
O Indra! You are as wide as the sea. You are as strong as thousands of sages. You are truthful and powerful. Praises of you are sung under the direction of brahmagyani people. (4)
