सामवेद (अध्याय 26)
ऊर्जो नपाज्जातवेदः सुशस्तिभिर्मन्दस्व धीतिभिर्हितः । त्वे इषः सं दधुर्भूरिवर्पसश्चित्रोतयो वामजाताः ॥ (६)
हे अग्नि! आप शक्तिमान व सर्वज्ञाता हैं. आप हमारी प्रशस्तियों को सुनिए, हमारी सेवा से संतुष्ट होइए. आप विलक्षण व असंख्य रूपधारी हैं. आप यजमानो द्वारा दी गई हवि को ग्रहण करने की कृपा कीजिए. (६)
