सामवेद (अध्याय 5)
तं वः सखायो मदाय पुनानमभि गायत । शिशुं न हव्यैः स्वदयन्त गूर्तिभिः ॥ (४)
हे मित्र यजमानो! आप प्रसन्नता बढ़ाने के लिए सोम की स्तुति कीजिए. आप छानते हुए सोम की स्तुति कीजिए. आप बालक को सजाने की तरह हवियों से इन्हें सजाइए. (४)
O friend, sir! Praise Som for increasing happiness. Praise Som while you filter. You decorate them with lust like decorating the child. (4)
