यजुर्वेद (अध्याय 1)
शर्मा॒स्यव॑धूत॒ꣳ रक्षोऽव॑धूता॒ऽअरा॑त॒योऽदि॑त्या॒स्त्वग॑सि॒ प्रति॒ त्वादि॑तिर्वेतु। धि॒षणा॑सि पर्व॒ती प्रति॒ त्वादि॑त्या॒स्त्वग्वे॑त्तु दि॒वः स्क॑म्भ॒नीर॑सि धि॒षणा॑सि पार्वते॒यी प्रति॑ त्वा पर्व॒ती वे॑त्तु ॥ (१९)
यज्ञ का आसन सुखदायी है. इस आसन से राक्षसों व दुष्टों को हटाया गया है. यह पृथ्वी का आवरण है. इसलिए पृथ्वी इसे अपना जाने. हे सिल (पत्थर)! आप पर्वत से उत्पन्न कर्मशकिति हैं. इसलिए पृथ्वी आप को अपना जाने. हे शय्ये! आप स्वर्गलोक की रोक हैं. हे लोढ़े! आप घर्षण (रगड़) करने वाले हैं. आप सिल की पुत्री के समान हैं. इसलिए सिल आप को अपना जाने (१९).
The seat of yajna is pleasant. Demons and evil have been removed from this seat. It is the cover of the earth. So let the earth adopt it. O sil (stone)! You are karmashakiti originating from the mountain. So let the earth adopt you. Oh my son! You are the stop of heaven. Oh greedy! You are going to rub. You are like Sil's daughter. So sil you go your own (19).
